I went to a tattoo artist to remove my melasma using the Pico Laser and she said she makes more money removing tattoos than she ever did being a tattoo artist. She's so busy, she opened her own shop! 🤑
My experience with a temporary tattoo in middle school is why I never got a real one lol. It was cute for 2 days and then I couldn’t wait to take it off 🤣.
It’s a shame to see these people saying “I wish I would’ve waited” to get their tattoos. Cuz nobody could tell us NOTHING when we were teenagers! I remember. I feel more rebellious not having any ink 😊
Tattoos are a touchy subject nowadays. I got all 8 of mine during the pandemic when I was off my meds and craving dopamine and validation. A few years later, I have learned to love and accept them. It helps that I already have an "alternative" aesthetic, and my tattoos can be easily covered. Sometimes I do miss the "me before tattoos" but the experience taught me a lot about permanency, decision-making, consequences, and acceptance.
Tattoos put your body into a never-ending cycle of inflammation and immune response. Immune cells try to remove the ink and fail. This process will repeat your entire life increasing your chance of getting cancer and lymphoma.
Imagine having $5000 to spend on one spectacular outfit that fits you perfectly and is currently all the rage in fashion. Only catch is, you have to wear it every day for the rest of your life. Young people, listen to your parents. They truly have your best interest at heart.
People say "oh my brain wasn't developed, it should be banned till you're 27". I can guarantee if one country did that, 19 year olds would be skipping over the border to get their tatts. When you tell a young person they can't have something because they're too immature, well we all know how that goes...
