Fun fact: the silence that follows the line, "cause i had one goal in mind" is where earlier in Full Speed Ahead the whole crew sang back, "make it back alive to our homeland" but since theyre all dead, its just silence.

Nobody panic, he found the full song of Get In The Water. It’s just not out for YouTube viewers - currently on Patreon.

Man was like:
-"I love you.." 🤯
-"... But not in the way that you want me to" 🙂👍🏼

I recently saw a comment that said that the reason Poseidon seems to scream musically but speak normally during the final scene is because his screams are “music to Ody’s ears” which is amazing haha

15:41 Fun fact, One of the winions backing Hermes is called Princess Winion and she’s voiced by Jorge’s sister

So we’ve got the whole family in the musical. Mom, Dad, Sister and Girlfriend

'Charybdis' as a boss monster song that is also a transitional song is definitely underrated! It's so funky in terms of both narrative and musical structure, but also just... an amazing song. Perfect for doing chores, working out, getting your blood pumping

FINALLY someone showing “Charybdis” the appreciation it deserves 😭 idc if it’s a filler song

I really adore the moment in Duvetbox's animatic when Poseidon is hurt by his own trident coming back to him. Odysseus smiles as he realizes how he can defeat him and makes a plan, perfectly supporting the sudden tonal switch in his singing between the two songs

16:40 Dangerous is in a lot of people's top songs. Troy is Hermes tricking us into thinking it isn't him and the song is such a bop

12:10 " Odysseus journey" I think there might be a word for that....

You can tell Neal has experience with drawing grown adults with more realistic anatomy. Gotta be college level/graduate at least to make something this good and a true animation rather than storyboarded animatics. There’s so much mouth movements and “in-betweens” of actions. The more you draw between poses the more fluid/alive the motions are. My favorite example of this is watching the wreckage rise above him and he grabs on to one as it rotates like a gear or conveyer belt or something. Very cinematic 👏

The melody in charybdis was from storm, that might be the song you were thinking of

Fun Fact, Hermes is connected to 80s synthwave-inspired stuff because of one of Jorge’s lamps!

I love the choice in Dangerous to start with just a lone acoustic guitar. It highlights how alone and lost he is at the moment.

I gotta warn you that in next saga of "Hold them down" it heavily about- like half of the song is about SA. So just little heads up :D

49:00 loved you having the "oh SNAP" reaction to the "Next to my wife." line we all had too ^^

I find it interesting that Hermes sings the tune of Aeolus. Both Hermes and Aeolus are ancestors of Odysseus on his mom and dad’s side.
Edit: this is incorrect

I’m not sorry for loving you isn’t meant to be a sweet song. It’s meant to trick you into feeling bad for her but it’s purposefully manipulative. Calypso uses tactics in that song that are used by abusers to gaslight and lovebomb. In the original story she trapped and SAd Odysseus for 7 years and it’s explicitly stated that he was an unwilling participant in the acts she committed against him. His “I love you, but not in the way that you want me to” I believe is meant to represent how a lot of times victims of abuse will care about their abuser even if they really shouldn’t

Six Hundred Strike is one of my favorite songs. It's probably already been mentioned but some fans have a theory that the reason Poseidons screams are in tune is because to Odysseus it's music to his ears and honestly that makes it even better.
