1:15:25 I was taught similar, in mid 80s. And taught to be on guard because we never know when the day is coming.

Steve Dailey is a gem! Thank you Peter!

I know many a SDA pastor who agreed with Ford, but stayed in the movement for the retirement package and free housing etc

The foundation was laid 2000 years ago by the  apostles teaching, teaching they recieved from Jesus Christ Himself. That is what I will cling to.
All the law (including every one of the ten commandments, as Paul refers to them as being in the law) is fullfilled through love, for love does not wrong ones neighbor.

Prophets that came saying things that contradict scripture are not to be listened to, no matter how convincing or charismatic they are. Moses said in the law to listen to The prophet to come. Jesus is that prophet to come, as was confirmed at the Mount of transfiguration by God the Father. Jesus spoke to the apostles, and the apostles past on his teaching to us. Listen to them, and those who uphold their teachings. From the very beginning there has been but one Church, One Faith, one baptism, one savior, one God. As Paul says in 1st Corinthians, don't start saying I'm of this person or that person (which can be then extrapolated to denominations, for denominations are started by, if not a single person, by people). Be people of the word of God, born again by salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

Many of the SDA members do not even know that she was a spiritual medium before she decided to become a prophet for the SDA faith. Also they don't know that she talked to her husband after he had died! Also she said that Satan cause Jesus to doubt on the cross. Terrible stuff that cane from her.

Peter, thanks for taking the time to make these interviews happen. I respect that you have opposing views on your show. It allows one to inspect all the cards on the table. I'll be watching Dr. Campbell's presentation next!

Hour 1:31 hits especially hard for me. There’s so much I love about Adventism and yet so much that hurts. It’s strange that spiritual nourishment can coexist with spiritual abuse yet here we are. 😂

I have two observations on the Nature of Christ.  So many Adventist theologians, such as Dennis Priebe, claim that Jesus had to have a sinful nature if he was going to be tempted as we are.  There are two big problems with that claim.  Adam and Eve were created with a sinless nature and yet Genesis points out that they were tempted in the Garden.  The second problem, and this is a big one, is that Jesus pointed out that you had already committed the sin of adultery if you had a lustful heart, even tho you hadn't acted on it.
The two goats that were chosen for the sin offering on the Day of Atonement had to be identical, perfect in every way, entirely without blemish.  Having a sinful nature is a very, very big blemish.

Bethesda Shalom channel did a series on adventism.  It is believed Ellen's "accompanying angel" is what the Bible calls a "familiar spirit".  https://youtu.be/evgB_801Rvc?si=fXUTFN6Ivzy2zANv

Yes others came against White.   But they also changed denominations to the Calvin view.

They changed not because of the Bible. But because they changed their understanding of the Bible from Arminius and Pelagius along with John Wesley to Calvinism.

God is love.

I just thought all of this work going into EGW and the SDA. Doesn't this form of work fall under what the bible would call.judging, condemning and judging each other which the Bible forbids. Are we not.going about as tail bearers against a brother or sister.

Ellen G. White, who is considered inspired by Seventh-day Adventists, said that the Pope changed the Sabbath in about 321 AD. Why do all Adventists today reject their inspired prophet and say the change of the Sabbath occurred in about 140 AD? If White was wrong about this, was she wrong when she traveled to heaven and saw the 4th commandment glowing brighter than all the rest?

To make of none effect the Testimonies

1:42:40 "[Adventism] doesn't admit to the continuing date setting of Ellen and others."

Another accusation without evidence. Again, I've interacted with many, many former Adventists and have heard this claim innumerable times. But you know what? It's patently untrue. Ellen White never set a date for the return of Christ. I am less sure whether others may have done so, but there certainly was never a church endorsed date set for Christ's return.

In this video Daily has accused others of lying a number of times. Apparently he thinks lying is a bad thing, so I would think he'd be able to supply evidence to back up this charge. Could someone who knows Dr. Daily reach out and ask him to share evidence to back up his claim?

Blessings! ✌

I will encourage all to read the Bible for themselves.  Not a verse here and a verse there. Read entire books. Read the Bible in context. God will give you clarity.

Tom Noris in my opinion is as DISHONEST as they come on Ellen White.

There is no eternal award for being nice. Adventists are nice mostly until you tell them they aren’t Church. Then they are far from nice.

Very interesting presentation! Can anyone tell me if Dr. Daily's book is available online? Thanks

My wife was not liking that.  So nope.
God be with you and your loved ones.   But I also prefer time to look up points. Since my  memory is not perfect. God is love.

New to this channel as I was looking for things from Steve Daily.

I realize that, since I don't bookface, it's unlikely that he'll see it but if Mr Daily could expand on what he meant at the end about the 'Maxwellian' view being that Jesus didn't have to die on the cross. I'm familiar with Mr Maxwell's position but haven't heard this. It was only a passing comment so it's hard to understand what Mr Daily meant and I'd like to hear more.
