So many losing or break-even players burn cash betting for absolutely no reason because they're terrified about checking and being bluffed

Hero noted villain is a LAG that 3B light, hence the 4b with QT, but no mention of what hero perceives his own table image is. Because for villain to call down 3 streets here, he must perceive 1) hero’s 4b range to include a lot weak hands and 2) hero will triple barrel bluff post flop.

Maybe villain is just a station, but this hand feels like a punt, but when you 4b, you kind of need to rep top of range

I really don't get the point of 4-betting. Now you're just playing an absurdly bloated pot out of position against a range that absolutely dominates you a tremendous amount of the time.

It’s weird because I think in live Poker in this exact spot AQ is more likely to fold to a jam. Then let’s say QJ and I’m not saying that that’s correct. I’m just saying that in my experience AQ more often finds a fold because when you jam river they just feel like they’re top of their range and they block ace king so they can’t see you betting and strangely enough when they have QJ somehow they find more calls because again they’re at the bottom of their range and just feel like their hand is purely a bluff catcher whereas with AQ they often don’t feel the same. Obviously theoretically that’s incorrect but I feel like in real life Poker that’s what you see more often than than not is that people don’t like to call down as a complete Bluff catcher with their higher value hands and they prefer a calling down as a bluff catcher with hands that actually are just complete bluff catchers.

Think Bart did a nice job here asking questions etc. Hero kinda ragged Vs river call, but as Bart said, if you call the turn with QJs then rivers a snap crying call. Hero said his pf 4B was attacking the bottom of Vs 3B range, but he doesn't consider this exact scenario of what does he beat when called down. A5s is all the rage for 4B with blocker etc, but I'd rather have 88-99-TT here than QTs simply cause I think it makes the hand easier to play, as QTs is susceptible to reverse implied odds and the domination that happened here.

This is another example of the all in paradox IMO. If you take a size of 750 I think it looks stronger and if you do get called you lose less. If you're truly trying to bet your opponent off of a better Q.

Caller is crazy you got your value on the flop is you continue betting your just getting called by better. All you can do if bluff catch after flop

12:49 even if TT and JJ do continue to a turn bet it can’t be a value bet.

There’s 9 combos of JJ and TT. But there’s also 9 combos AA and KK alone.

Then add QQ, AK, AQ, KQ, KJ, 99…

You obviously can’t bet this hand for value on the turn.

You really don't need to play back much against a 5x 3-bet OOP - even against someone who 3-bets light. There's just no incentive, you can fold all the way up to AQs+ without any worry of getting exploited.

Postflop play was obviously complete nonsense too, but it shouldn't even have come to that.

This call illustrates the problem of playing with a ten in your hand....QT...AT...KT.....these hands dont play well against big raises.....FOLD preflop.
