I am not self-taught in any language. I don't recommend doing this all alone. Learn like me and get a good Japanese teacher here: https://www.japanesepod101.com/member/go.php?r=810124&l=%2F

"Day-um!"
-His English is good if he's saying it like us 🤣

I think the best part is the American meeting a Canadian while speaking another language. That was funny.

You can tell her Korean is getting better by how much she speaks it. I remember when she only dared to say a few words.

Poor guy just wanted to practice his english

Dogs speak dog in every country.  Cats speak cat.   But when their sounds are printed (in comics, for example) they are printed differently according to the local language.
I always found that fascinating.

I would have laughed so hard if the dogs looked over like “wtf”

I love that the ladies who were watching the woman paint, were so sweet and shared so much with you. Such kindness.

I met that red haired guy 4:47 at an English cafe in Tokyo once 🤣 I saw him in the thumbnail and recognized him immediately

3:24 that transition using this sound in the background is masterpiece transition

I want to learn ALL languages on earth but where is the time for ALL that ???... Almost ZERO ... At least you and other guys could bring us the joy on our behalf ... Thank you sooo much ...

I'm impressed at how people say that they are learning a different language, but they seem like they know it SO WELL already, being able to converse in it.  Their comprehension is very good.  All the dogs dressed up.... very cute.

I think the most amazing part about this channel is that we get to see just how you touch the lives of those with whom you speak. I imagine some of them feel like they're really far away from home, so every time you speak to them in their native tongue the world feel less lonely, especially coming from an American. <3 I personally love it when you catch people by surprise!

How sweet and what a surprise that the little ones only knew English ❤

Watching you mix and match in multiple Asian languages never fail to intrigue me. I find it shows that asians who themselves speak two or three languages are surprised that a westerner can speak multiple asian languages also. They take for granted that speaking at least two languages is normal, for a lot of asians. They assume that westerners will only be competent in their own language. When they run into Anming7, their preconceptions are shattered. I unfortunately am only semi competent in my native language and woefully incompetent in Japanese. So regrettably, I'm a living embodiment of what they expect from western looking foreigners. These videos only inspire me to try harder.

6:15 My friend was born and raised in Taiwan 60-odd years ago.  Each time she goes back from America it is harder because Mandarin has become so dominant and she grew up speaking Taiwanese.

I love these videos!! 本当にありがとうございます！

You're the legendary East Asian language learner. You have the gift of gab for sure. I'm proud of you fully.

These people were shocked 😲 when you spoke other languages besides your native English here! Great video!

These are still your best videos. good stuff.
