So basically everyone is playing 5D chess while I am going round petting cats, lighting beehives on fire and getting beaten up by a random goose?

Sounds about right.

When granny turtle mistook a young soldier for his son.... my god..... the ocular floodgates trully opened that day.....

It is real historical fact that the Song Dynasty Government was the first to introduce paper money as legal money .
It is also true that it had to do with a coin shortage and merchants also had something to do with it , but mainly because merchants needed a different solution than transporting carriages full of chests with coins around .
I love how the devs use real historical facts and bends them to tell a Jianghu story , its pretty cool .

I really thought Granny Turtle was actually meeting her son again....and than it was a fake...I punched my wall.

Not gonna lie, a cockfighting dude as an emperor, a hobo scammer as  super Saiyan, and a stupid kid who is the master of the biggest sect in the world. That plot twist is really something

On top of a mountain in Kaifeng I found a sign "Hello my friends from around the world! Kaifeng is my real life home"

It made me happy

I saw the triplets as dao lord from a mile away once I noticed out how little fu's personality and hat kept changing, but yingying as ember of the east came in swinging outta nowhere 😭

This is how a lore video should be made, respecting the story progression of the global version.

I’ve watched some other lore channels, and they’ve already spoiled details that haven’t even been released yet. They feel more like reporters racing to list things that aren’t meant to be known yet.
I already poiled who the mysterious man that bought the wine jar is and his connection to the Velvet shade. I understand that the China version is far ahead of the global release, but revealing those details completely ruins the fragmented storytelling experience, where the fun lies in piecing clues together.

Lore videos should feel like storyteller guiding through a scattered narrative from their own point of view, not reporters rushing to publish every detail before it’s even meant to appear.

Since arriving in Kaifeng, I've been playing mahjong the whole time and haven't even started the main quest.

MC asked Yingying: "Are you one of Four Keepers of Weiyang" and Yingying affirms it,she basically told him the truth. Damn I love this game and their cleverness of hiding big revelation in plain sight.

The River Master, the Ember of East, the Dao Lord, the EMPEROR. I'm gonna be more surprised if we meet an npc who isn't secretly some super important and/or powerful person.

You got the true meaning of Kaifeng arc right. It is a story about change for the better.

The court realizes its mistakes and changes for the good of the people.
The people in the Golden leaf quest realize their selfishness and a simple act of kindness can bring positive change.
Yingying realized her bad way of life in the past and chose to change for the better.
Granny turtle and the townsfolk overcome the wounds and sorrows of the past and welcome a better future.

Yesssss the best lore guy on internet for Where Winds meet. I have been waiting forever.

How could this be a story of a free mmo game. It could make into a Trilogy movie.

War breed sadness and suffering. The poor remained poor. Just want to survive day to day while literally no economy boost due to unstable and no peace. Damn epic storyline for kaifeng. High ambition to unite China inflict so much suffering to lower income people in Kaifeng.

the best shock to me in this game is that damn boatman from the beginning is the RIVER MASTER!

I came for the wuxia flair. Now, I'm staying for the history, atmosphere, and emotional gut punches.

Watching this channel has become a obligatory part of the WWM experience. Thank you for this!

This story was so good. Finally a game that is worth the money I dont have to pay to play it.

This guys deserves more attention 😭 why are you so underrated
