ive got a question lets say your in mode 5 as soon as you start pedalling will it propel you to 15.5 mph and then cut out?

Not gonna lie,  I partly expected you to do some live X-Moto. 😂

Now that's a brilliant kit! I'm honestly a little shocked that I hadn't seen this sort of design before, but it makes perfect, tactile sense in terms of what you're doing with a bike!

Very educational - and well timed. I’ve been pondering converting a bike just slightly ‘younger’ than yours. Cheers from 🇳🇴…!

Merci de votre vidéo. C'est exactement le kit que je suis en train de regarder 😊

As a RPi 5 owner, I no idea that you did other types of content. I clicked on the video as I have an ebike and was curious. When I heard the voice I knew it was you! I also got to see what you look like, which never happen on the computer stuff.

Super!  Thanks for presenting your findings.

Excellent vid lee!

Great video, thanks

A superb video and a kit I shall definitely get. Thank you!

Thanks Lee, this is super useful. Wish you'd weighed the bike before and after conversion, interested to see exactly how much the kit added. Guessing about 2.5Kg, which is quite reasonable tbh.

I like the idea of a cadence sensor talk sensor in the hub. they don't appear to make this in the screw on. Hub version presumably. To accommodate the TORQUE. sensor

Ooh spicy water bottle

If you dont use the display and light what would you guess the assist speed is set to by default from 1-5

I've done 750 miles on mine.  I have found a design weakness in think.  The battery holder is not quite holding the battery securely and any bumps can slightly dislodge it.  Maybe my fault for not having always pushed home the locking pin. Anyway I started to get power drop out and inspection showed the female battery connector (I.e. on the battery itself) had got hot and there was some melted plastic. I cleaned it up and now have a velcro strap to hold the battery firmly down into its cradle and seems ok. I did notice that,  were this repair not possible,  I would be stuck as they don't seem to sell batteries on their own and I could not find these connecting plug/sockets anywhere.

Think I'm going to get one of these for my Hybrid bike, will be cycling back from work 15 miles hilly terrain in 1 go (will take train there) twice a week reckon this would be up for the job?

I noticed the bike stand.  Which model is that bike stand?

Here in the US, On Amazon, the kits are listed as "Unavailable".

How about braking? Past yose power sets had a brake lever that was connected to the motor. Did you feel the motor push you further while suddenly braking?

This is the same price as their other kit with a way bigger battery

Main difference seems to be cadence Vs torque sensor

What sort of real range have you been getting with the small bottle battery?
