I can't believe they actually think those pieces of junk will fly, i appreciate their efforts but those things are death traps.

This video should be called 20 taxi tests.

They seriously need to build/fly rc planes first for some basic understanding.

If your airplane won't take off, a ramp is not the answer.

Its like if you explained to someone what an airplane looked like, but they used angle iron for everything, got the proportions wrong, and powered it with a lawnmower engine with ceiling fan prop.

As an aircraft homebuilder myself, I can say that even the most pathetic examples shown here took hundreds of hours of dedicated effort.

Pretty sure the plane at 3:50 is actually an old very beat up Cessna 206 or 210 not a homemade plane.

All of these contraptions seem grossly underpowered.
That's why the "pilots" are still alive, so lucky for them.

The Wright Bros. didn't "build from nothing"!  They spent years studying prior attempts, studying aerodynamics, and building flying models, learning what they needed.  Lots of testing.

I admire these dreamers for their courage & dedication

Some of these people feels like they did not even read up on basic aircraft principles .

There's no secret to flight. These people just need do 30 minutes of research on the internet.
