I make your original sloppy Joe recipe often. Just made it a couple nights ago and took some leftovers to work. I made one for a co-worker and he said ‘that’s the best sloppy Joe I’ve ever had’. I could tell he was thoroughly enjoying it. And you know what Kent….he’s right!

Sloppy joes is just another recipe but when Cowboy Kent cooks ‘em, it’s a genuine national treasure! 👍. Thank you, sir!

I like toasting my bun to add a little structural integrity and crunch.

Kent. Just heard a Gene Autry song from 1938 The Big Corral. "The chuck ain't fit to eat,, We're going to the big corral, There's rocks in the beans and sand in the meat. We're going to the big Corral." Thank you for your show Sir! God Bless America!

Kent! I have learned so much from your videos. I have tried a great deal of them with much applauds. My sloppy Joe's is very similar to yours. I use 3 lbs. chopped, 90/10 ground chuck, roasted Green Amaheim chilis, One Roasted and chopped Poblano chili, one tablespoon of white vinegar, 1 chopped medium white onion and Frenche's yellow mustard. My red sauce is mix of Sweet Baby Ray's and red chili sauce from the dried pods. I'm an 80 year old native Arizonian. I have midwestern relatives, but they don't have any taste buds. They think spicy is an extra shake of the pepper shaker.

I used the recipe from the first Sloppy Joe video he made and won a cooking competition with it..
It was the only competition I ever entered and I actually won.. Folks I cannot begin to tell you how much better Kent’s sloppy joe version is compared to the others but it’s life changing for sure.

Try it!

And Kent, I always remove the seeds and membrane from my jalapeños to tone them down a little. 😊

Sloppy Joe aka the Tavern sandwich. Every helping gives you two slices of bun to help fill belly's especially teenagers who adults said had hollow legs during baling hay. Mothers and grandmothers new ground beef and buns went farther and they didn't have to spend as much time at the stove.

I love old cowboy movies and shows. Cowboy Kent is the updated color version of my old shows. Sloppy Joe’s are my youngest son’s favorite birthday meal. He’s 42. I plan to try these out for his next birthday meal. The cheese is a bonus! Thank you Cowboy Kent!!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️

I love how he melted the cheese into the Sloppy Joe mixture, then sprinkled more cheese on top. Sir, you are a saint.

Kent and Shan, I love what you folks do here. You're both always so kind, and you have taught me so much. It's what keeps me coming back for every video. Your tips have helped me earn the title of Campfire Cook on every camping and hunting trip. Bless you both and, of course, the taste testers too. I wish you folks the best and nothing less 👍
