The last time England hosted the Women's Rugby World Cup (2010, England vs NZ, NZ won) the teams played at Stoop Stadium to a crowd of 13,000.
15 years later, Saturday's final at 'Twickers' is SOLD OUT.
82,000 fans will be roaring.
Whoever wins, women's rugby wins :)
Go Red Roses!

Well done girls! Tough luck Canada, you fought well.

Aldcroft at the end, tears in her eyes. So emotional.

that last break by Emily Scarret set that try up.

Fair play to both sides some great rugby and sheer energy from start to finish well done the roses

Wow! haven't seen England this tested in the recent past!

From the kick off, clear your lines, 2 minutes from the end of the first half, clear your lines. The first cost 5 points, the second could be going in at half time behind. Away to Canada will be no easy ride.

Since the last world cup Canada have been the most improved nation by far. They really rattled the Roses  in this game. The womens game has huge  potential for growth  in North America  similar to football over the last decade or so. The mens despite all the exhibitions games by league and union teams will not knock NFL off their throne. The womens game wont face that challenge because womens gridiron is played by models in their underwear. They could take off big time

Well done England. Bit ragged today but got the job done.

brilliant game, hard luck canada.....just edged out

Canada’s line out was tough going today. They’ve been so clean all tournament! They were so close to scoring so many times. Good on England’s defense.

Excellent

Hell of a game ,speed of ball both sides excellent in the balance for most of the game, two very good sides❤❤❤

Great match! If Canada had had a functioning line-out…

So entertaining

Brilliant 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏👏👏👏👏

She's a world class player, who had a bad day at the office.

Like the Ref.

it was yesterday ? last week ?   no dating of the event.

Canada should have kicked off the first penalty. 3 points up would have changed the momentum. Our women grind the best🍁🍁🍁
