Who's the biggest snub from our list? And which ranked shortstop do you disagree with most? We like our list -- but we'll keep the phone lines open

It's easy to forget how crazy A-Rod was as a young player... Those numbers are insane, especially since he (allegedly) wasn't taking steroids at the time. Sheesh!

One of the Vaults best posts IMO. SS is the most exciting defensive position. Do one for the 80's and 2000's Shorstops, please!

your videos are really good. they remember a lot of good players that were forgotten. I love when guys that were good and underrated get on these lists.

96 A-Rod hit a bit differently than the rest of his career.

Not saying he wasn’t juiced, but he had a darn good amount of power (36 home runs and 54 doubles), and hit .358 along with the power.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think he hit within 30-35 points of that again.

John Valentin was pretty good too. Led the league in WAR in 1995 and led in defensive WAR in 1993 and 1995. Nomar's emergence moved him off the position but he was probably worth an honorable mention.

God has his own baseball team. He hasn’t actually played a game with them yet. He’s waiting for Ozzie to play short. There is no other ss.

Cant believe you could lead the league in bunts and have your form like Jay Bell. You do not open your body to bunt. thats a good way to take one in the face or directly to your stomach. The old saying broad side of a barn, you dont open the broad side of your body. All you do is turn your feet towards the pitcher and get into a a bit of a crouch knowing that its easier to bring the bat up from a low position than it is to bring it down to a low pitch.
