Brilliant review Brad and this fermenter is just what I need. I am going to invest in one shortly and move away from the plastic fermenting buckets I currently use. Grainfather have brought one out with a heat control but it is expensive £525 or about $650! Will have to save up some more but if I bought it I could ferment in my garage during the winter.

Have they fixed the sharp edges yet on the hole in the lid? Are the gallon markings accurate? I have heard they were fixing these issues, but didn’t know if newer production runs were fixed yet.

Thanks for the video. It’s been 3 years, what are your long term opinions? I am looking for my first fermenter to try brewing. This would be expensive, but not that much more than some of the other $45-50 options I have been looking at such as the FastFerment, Brewdemon, or a glass 3 gallon carboy…. I was going to start with cider, which is easy I guess, then try beer. Where to start? Thanks

Bought this fermenter recently, it's a good one! My only challenge now is bottling - I was hoping to be able to bottle straight from the fermenter - but with the hose size of the tap being 1/2 inch my bottling wand doesn't fit snug into the hose at all! Not sure if you have any tips for that :)

I am from Southern California, and it's hot hot here right now. If i needed to ferment around 68 degrees, would a mini fridge be the best solution?

If so, do you have any recommended models?
