"If you play the piano you should not have friends because that's a waste of time when you could be practising" Best words I've ever heard

This guy is actually hilarious, and he delivers on his promise.

Just learn the scale (the basic one in C),  learn what a blue note in blues is, get a rock/pop song book for Dummies, and learn to read notes and a few basic chords,. You now can play 90% of all rock/pop music.

I knew someone who was actually pretty good at faking new age piano playing.  It was fun to see someone who could not play at all perform so well.

Ugh I hate this video is actually kinda helpful. These tips from these videos, ironically, can serve as a decent warmup for folks who aren't pretending to learn the instrument. They're only using the white keys, which i guess fair enough, but you're missing out on some juicy sounds up there in the black keys. The only way I've been able to truly learn is from feeling and hearing the sounds and learning the scales and chords. Got a lot to work on but the journey is amazing

LOL! Great fun listening to your critique. It’s more like he’s trying to trick people into learning some piano, not real faking it. To fake it, press the demo button on an electric keyboard.

Her video is supposed to be satire lol

Videos like this are somehow more educational than the average informational piano video on youtube. Breaking down nonsense leads to more niche discussions.

I gotta say the 1st guy nailed it on how to fake being good at the piano all things considered  i get ur point and i get his point. he deserves a 10 on "faking piano" that's where we're at with music nowadays. and now ai comes along☹ talk about fake...

Learning piano the simplest way possible!

"Fake being good at the piano by actually learning to play the piano well!  Simple!"

another banger as usual

I had a boss who used to say things like, "It's just as easy to get it right as get it wrong!"

best video ever!

The quote at the end... 😔🥲

And was expecting to see the knuckle song in here.

This was entertaining, cheers!

In a world where everyone seeks instant gratification, many people look for short cuts to reach their goals.  The trouble is that it takes a lot of time and practice to play the piano well, it's not something you can really fake convincingly and it seems pointless to try.  Slow and steady progress is much more satisfying.
Thanks for your videos, they are very informative and entertaining.  I would love to take lessons from you but you live too far away and I'm not great with technology.

new banger again :face-blue-smiling:

Those tattoos killed me.... 🤣
