Bullying is so normalized on tik tok. Like why do they hate everything. 💀

"dress up as emo" and its just slightly thicker eyeliner than normal, a choker and a black t shirt 💀

"this is ur sign to dress up as emo in public 🤪😍" bestie that's just what i do everytime im outside 🥀🥀

Their idea of emo is ‘wear eyeliner, be sad’

It’s weird because if there was a trend making fun of these preppy girls or clean girls everyone and their mother would be mad about it but when it’s an alternative people no one bats an eye.

Why can't we all just interlock toes and be friends 😣<3

It’s disgusting how normalized bullying has becoming on tik tok. Especially towards alternative, emo, goth, gyaru and any sort of different fashion styles. They’re either harassed or sexualized I haven’t seen much of an in between on TikTok. And the fact people are ‘ cosplaying ‘ as Emos or other alternative people is offensive? Atleast somewhat to me- because they’re is a culture and a lifestyle that goes into these fashion genres. It’s just cringe and extremely rude 😭 also I’m glad you’re talking about this topic I love when you post.

Idk why so many ppl think mocking alt aesthetics are funny. Fashion is just another expression of yourself that shouldn't be judged. It's kinda annoying at this point

its so funny to me how even though they think theyre "dressed emo" its so obvious to anyone actually even slightly alternative theyre not genuinely emo/alternative 😭

got my first preteen child yelling emo at me the other day! This is a huge milestone! I'm newer to the Gothic style so this means I'm doing something right.

"Its not that deep relax!" Bro stfu bullying is genuinely smth that shouldnt be made into a trend.

Istg that they don’t even look emo 😭🙏 they just put on black clothes and put on black lipstick and call it a day—

I never understood bullying alternative people because I personally think that alt people are genuinely so cool

Tiktok is like the kids who bullied me in middle school for dressing emo

The worst part is they don’t even try to be emo like oooohhhh you wore black lip liner and wore black lululemons😔✋

"emo" and black clothes and e-girl heart eyeliner 💔💔

I just get so mad when people bully others for dressing a certain way like you want em to walk naked or sum cuz you don't like how they dress? I don't like society because i feel like fashion is a form of self expression and in a place like this we can't express our feelings normally so why not express it through fashion? Life is too short to judge how we dress. If you wanna wear skinny jeans and a boring T-shirt? WEAR IT. if you wanna dress scenemo WEAR IT. But instead of just letting people live they choose the unnecessary option to bully, it makes no sense

Then they be like “dont gate keep👿👿👿👿” when you say it’s a music based subculture and you have to listen to the music to be Emo

16:42 this cracked me up it reminded me of 8th grade spirit week when I suggested the theme “VSCO girls vs Egirls” so that I could have an excuse to dress alternative at my tiny Christian school. Like “haha wouldn’t it be so funny if we dressed up like that for a day right guys?” They actually went with that as one of the spirit days, I got all excited and dressed up emo… And I got to school and ALL THE OTHER GIRLS EXCEPT ONE DRESSED AS VSCO GIRLS. My plan failed horribly and to this day my sister makes fun of me for it 💔

I swear tik tok is allergic to wholesomeness and acceptance because making fun of people and their style?! I ain’t emo I’m more of grungy guy but even I can tell that’s just wrong 😑
