Trying to take out extra-small braids on a time crunch before London was… ambitious 😭
This was my first time taking my braids out since moving to France, and I had a little over two hours to get everything done before I needed to shower, style my natural hair, head back to Paris, and then leave for London the next morning.
I originally LOVED this braid style when I first did it, but less than a week later the curls started falling completely straight and eventually I was over it 😭 So it was officially time to take them out.

I also talk about one of the things I’ve been lowkey stressed about since moving to France: hard water + my natural hair. I’ve always come to France with braids, so I never really had to think about washing and styling my hair here until now. If you live in France/Europe and have any tips for dealing with hard water, shower filters, clarifying shampoos, or natural hair care over here PLEASE leave them below because I need all the help I can get lol.
I’m also heading to London and hoping to stop by a few modeling agencies, so I wanted my hair as natural as possible while I’m there. I ended up going with one of my favorite easy natural hairstyles — two space buns 🤍
