There’s a major difference between being a content creator driven by craft, passion, and storytelling and being an influencer who treats every video like a transaction. Between TikTok Shop floods, endless UGC affiliate pitches, and creators hawking courses on how to do the exact same thing, modern social media has started to look a lot less like creative content and a lot more like 24/7 late-night infomercials.
