Ever wondered how Sonic the Comic adapted Sonic 3 & Knuckles? In this video, we take an extensive look at issues 33 through 38, 45 and 47 to 53 which comprise the entire Death Egg saga! We'll see how the comic introduced Knuckles, when the echidna switched sides, how the duo brought down the Death Egg and the ramifications this arc had for the broader series.
This video combines three of my previous videos, allowing you to enjoy the entire story in one go, instead of having to hop between streams. As such, it's a whopping two hours in length! Here are the time stamps for your convenience:

Since I'm American, I grew up reading only the Archie comics. It's very interesting seeing this completely different interpretation of Sonic.
It's been my belief that Sonic as a franchise thrived best when it had multiple interpretations and continuities beyond just the games.

Sonic Adventure would later confirm this by showing the Island crashing at the beginning while the purple, red, yellow, cyan, and white Emeralds aren't on it (I count Windy Valley as Angel Island like it's Sky Sanctuary, and Ice Cap is of course on Angel Island). Later lore says it's the Death Egg crashing onto it and being repaired at Launch Base that caused it to fall, but that's never shown in the original game.
