You're clear and calm demeanor are welcome. So many mechanical videos have presenters that are all jacked up emotionally. Good job,

Cheers mate! Very useful tutorial

Top rate vid many thanks

I thought my Smart was the only having rust on the rear brakes.. Looks like it´s common problem

I’ve got the abs and handbrake light on

When you describe the effect of not preadjustment the reassure before putting the drum back on you said if you don’t do it, it would make the brakes too soft. Do you mean the brake pedal will have to travel too far before you get break effect?

Great video, thank you so much for this! Question: so it sounds like by time you get the shoes adjusted perfectly and you screw the cover back on, there should be some audible friction when hand turning the tire? When you are actually driving the car does it then back off a bit so it's not always rubbing?

Thanks for the nice guide.
Quick question, as I'm doing this job on my smart - is it normal that only one of the sides contacting the brakepad of the slave cylinder is moveable?
I'm unsure if one piston is seized and I need to swap the brake cylinder.
