Great video, amazing models, wonderful guy! What can I say? He’s a greater maker

Just found out about this channel last week and Ive already watched like 20 vids. Thanks for your super hard work. Hope you find peace with your grandpa <3

Great video man. Your editing skills have grown and it shows!

What a cool set! And ye painted them up very nicely!!!

those non-metallic metallics look great! I haven't tried paint pens, but I love how mini painting has evolved since I was a kid with my little tins of humbrol!

Love the checkerboard pattern on the minis.

Awesome glad you gotten into 1490 doom

Loved the vid! And I hadn’t heard of using sponges on 3d prints and I love the way it looks! Thanks for making such a rad video about the game!

I knew 1490 Doom would be right up your alley! Beautiful bridge sculpt! Your free hand work is GREAT! I picked up the 100 paint marker set as well. I have yet to bust them out though.

Such a cool game!

Cool video and review. Glad you added the starter set link. I missed the first run, but just pre-ordered for the next.

Tip for adding texture. Mix in a little tile grout into the paint. Also, love the paint styles you do.

YES YEEES I love 1490 Doom

Always such good stuff!! 👏😲

I've played a few times. It's a genuinely great game. Very tactical, plays a lot different than standard tabletop games seeing as the goal is to climb to the highest point of terrain on the board. Very fun to work out synergy between the doom companies too. Great video dude! Battle report next?

DOOM HYPE

Really cool trick with that sponge! And I agree about it being shorter making for a very good "game between games". Could be used to treat conflicts between players, or spice things up (whoever is the winner of that minigame gets X gold coins to use in the main campaign etc).

Not a fan of MDF, but I understand why they wouldn't just go with a plastic kit. It usually stand out too much for me amongst other terrain pieces.
However, the printed models still being on a tray (not cleaned up of any supports) and the price of the whole starter being so steep for what you actually get means that I'll pass despite being very interested in the game (I grabbed the books not too long ago).
The upcoming starter for Pillage is much more interesting in my opinion (and cost nearly half the price of this one), and the game looks really fun as well.

good video!
also big on my to craft/to play list
the models on a cured sprue irks me though😄
busy doing a omen tide board, same size as necropolis and very fun and cool watery eldritch theme

I think you missed a very important thing. The 3D-print support for the models doubles as another scaffolding or debris

1490 Doom seemed so cool but after everything came out with the movie that it's designed by like a Mormon Manosphere guy it's hard for me to get into
