The countries with low birthrates are proving every day why nobody younger than 30 wants to have a kid if that's what's considered acceptable.

Idol culture is predatory and disgusting. Theres no freedom or artistic expression its just an entertainment factory.

I hate the parasocial marketing it’s so weird cuz people act like they love these people so much when in reality most of them are controlling hateful fans

@bluevitriol5128 2 months ago

I always thought it was crazy that a lot of fans genuinely believe these idols are single and celibate in the first place. You think all these young, extremely attractive people aren't dating or in relationships? They are human beings. Let them live ffs

@tammystiletto 2 months ago

Why on earth would you demand that someone you love listening to or watching be alone forever?? What is wrong with you?!

I don't get why these Japanese stars have to be "available at all costs, all the time". The parasocial relationships have to end, they deserve to live their best lives during their youth.

The way you talk makes every sentence sound like a segway into an ad so I'm always paranoid watching your videos 😭

Sad how nothing has changed since Perfect Blue was released in the 90s. If anything, it seems to have gotten worse with the advancements of technology and the normalization of mass surveillance. I hope that idol culture undergoes a huge culture shift because this is in no way healthy for the idols or their fans.

Britney Spears set the precedent of being tired of being a show pony; even so American pop stars have far more freedom to exist than K and J pop stars; it's heartbreaking how psychotic parasocial relationships are encouraged.

I was into kpop in high school and i’ve always found the phrases “dating allegations” and “dating scandal” lowkey insane

like theres literal peds and rapists running around (not just in the kpop scene) that still get a lot of support and y’all mad at people for dating

It is not just idols and singers, even voice actors are at risk of this too. The voice of Nezuko, Akari Kito, lost followers because they found out that she has a boyfriend. And also the Japanese voice actor of Levi from Attack on Titan had to apologize to his fans for betraying them, by getting married and having a baby!

99% of the population thinking they honestly have a shot with an idol is a delusion, therefore the industry trying to subliminally promote this idea by keeping their idols single (available for their fans) means it's also deep disturbed.

Force shaving a women's head to denote shame...didnt that happen at some other terrible time in history. Honestly this feels like human rights abuse.

@sunshadeww 2 months ago (edited)

That is so damn disturbing... making a women shave their heads is atrocious, it's a public humiliation and a point of making her understand she's owned by them...

@akaisakita8618 2 months ago

How is this legal, doesn't this violate some type of human rights law?

@gaiathemuse 2 months ago

Jesus the 48 company is just getting worse. Until laws change to actually give girls and women safety, we'll keep seeing this.

@kiwi7455 2 months ago

was the man named? did he have to publicly apologize and ask for forgiveness? so disgusting, infuriating, exhausting. im so tired

Idol cultures is sick. It's so unhealthy for the idols and only encourages the fans to become deranged. It's bad for everyone and should stop already.
