My daughter is a hairdresser and always go to work with her hair done. I told her she's her best advertiser. Also we dress modestly, so she's always in a flowy dress ā¤.
At 21 I got out the house and didn't want to go out that night but, that is the night I met my husband. Ladies, always leave the house put together; you never know who you will meet. For reference, my style is identical to the second lady.
Iām glad she acknowledged the young black women who are doing the thing and setting the bar !!!! ā¤ā¤ā¤ because the ratio unfortunately is slim that come to her lives.
Granted sheās giving help to ladies who want to become that kind of woman.
To the second girl and any young woman with a similar vibe: join some social clubs aimed at the young professionals in your city and youāll always have a full happy hour calendar. Charity boards, political groups, career specific groups, civil rights auxiliary groups, etc. Going to the bar is fine, but if youāre already in that designated crowd of like-minded people, conversations will be easier and you wonāt feel as awkward.
