In Episode 9 of the Simply Toxic Build, we take on a custom cowl and wiper setup using parts from a 2002 Silverado.

The Silverado wiper linkage and motor didn’t fit the 1967 cab without some major modifications, so we moved the cowl hole to match the linkage spacing and added a raised hump in the center of the cowl to make room for the wiper motor.

We also fabricated three mounts for the wiper linkage and three new cowl mounts since the original mounting points could no longer be used. To finish the episode, we started filling the extra holes in the cowl panel and cleaning up the area.

This project isn’t finished yet, but we made solid progress getting modern wipers adapted into the Simply Toxic Build.
