Building a PC, but I can ONLY shop on Reddit

Over the past couple months I've been trying to scoop up good PC component deals from Reddit - specifically the r/hardwareswap subreddit, and in this video I'm finally ready to compile it all together into a (hopefully) functional gaming PC.
Fingers crossed!

Hey at least you got parts instead of weighted bricks from reddit

That CPU 100% had liquid metal put onto the IHS and very sloppily by the looks of things, I'm assuming someone bought some liquid metal after hearing it's better at cooling a CPU than thermal paste is and just applied it in the same manner.

Howdy!
Good to see the PSU and GPU were working as expected! When I saw the slight bend from shipping, my heart almost dropped a bit, but I'm glad that nothing major seemed to be of issue!

15:45 Nope. That is NOT the issue. The 1700 was NEVER compatible with x570 boards.

High pitched squeal is peak 6700xt coil whine. Harmless, but annoying. Great build.

13:20 flicker of light is normal on aorus cards, they have leds like that. they flicker horribly on camera especially

Why did nobody mention the 1700 doesnt work with x570 boards lol. Actually none of the 1000 series cpus work with x570. Except some companies made them work with bios updates but by default only the 1600AF works on x570.

9:49 imagine your playing on your pc and then the nvme just pops out of the Motherboard 😂😂😂

The flickering GPU RGB is normal for some Gigabytes with the rings behind the fans. My 4080 was the same way. The squealing is probably coil whine.

You haven’t bought enough used gpus if you haven’t ran into a bent mounting bracket
