Bro, you knocked this out of the park. Words can't express how this makes me feel. It's so true to the Spectacular aesthetic that I really feel like Gobby killed our Gwen and it's hitting me hard in a way I didn't think it would. Thanks so much for being so respectful about getting my permission and I'm so impressed by your talent and pleased with the job you did. Bravo. A million times, bravo.

I have even more respect for Josh Keaton now. The fact that he's letting you use his own voice performance for a fan animation of one of the best Spidey comics of all time is just unbelievable. The guy really loves the character and it shows.

Suck it Lotus, this is how you adapt Blue

IM HYPED TO HEAR JOSH KEATON AGAIN!!!

The emotion in his voice when he screams "I'm gonna get you Goblin!!" Is gut wrenching. Incredible.

I will take this as an unofficial conclusion to Spectacular Spider-Man series. Now I can die happily.

“I’ve learned that being a superhero isn't all glitz and glamour. We think if we have a special power, our problem will go away. It's just a new set of problems. Being a superhero alienates you and separates you from humanity”. As Spider-Man famously said, 'With great power comes great responsibility.'

-Josh Keaton

Oddly enough, the creators of Spectacular said that Gwen wouldn't die had the show continued but Peter & MJ would eventually be a thing

this is a thousand times better than Spiderman:Lotus.

Josh’s voice sounds so defeated and mature like its been years since he last talked to her it really sells the feeling like he is having a hard time holding his emotions in

This 3 min short completely blew Spider-Man Lotus out of the water.

This short managed to succeed at being a fantastic adaptation of Spider-Man: Blue in under 4 minutes over what Spider-Man: Lotus attempted in 2 hours.

Shit now I gotta rewatch Spectacular Spider-Man for the millionth time

"dont you understand? I saved you"

It hits very hard

The fact that Josh Keaton was able to do this just made it so much better

This is why we need Spectacular Spider-Man back, Josh Keaton and this video are prime examples of why we need the Spectacular Spider-Man back! Please! Someone make a season 3!

Immediately a better adaptation of Spiderman: Blue than Spiderman Lotus could ever be.
Hearing Josh Keaton again and your amazing performance as Peter was such a wonderful Valentines Day surprise. Happy Valentine's Day Mauricio.

Hey there! Tim was my stepdad. I got a random urge to check out some things related to Spider-Man Blue--I mean, it's my birthday, I guess it kinda fits into the theme, huh? But I wanted to say that this was really great. I think you nailed some of Tim's art style. Particularly the scenes with all the use of black, as we know he loved to do. 2:49 with the rose was particularly good. Y'all did a great job here. I think he would've loved to see it if he could.

I've read this book every year for the past 3 years. Since I first read it it started to mean more and more to me. Since I read I can recite it like a damn poem but most importantly I started to relate to Peter. I read this book twice a year, today of course but also the anniversary of the day I lost someone I really care about, a loss that for the longest time I blamed myself for. But I've realized that when I feel like this, I just have to be like Spidey

"There's nothing I can do about it now, and I've come to accept that, but when you lose someone you love, everyone tells you to move on. 'don't focus on the past, it's what she'd want' And that makes me smile. Like I'd ever wanna forget you"

That bridge scene brought me to actual tears. I’ve never cried at a piece of fictional media until now, but Josh’s “I was supposed to save you” was a real kick in the feels”. Bravo
