Good morning, Mr. Extinctzoo, I hope you are doing well.

I would like to inform you that the channel known as "Explorando con Dino" is stealing your content and publishing it as their own. For example, your video about the Triceratops and its rivalry with the T. rex was blatantly copied, word for word, same thumbnail, almost the same images.

I hope you can do something about this. Due to the similarity of the videos, I doubt the thief can claim it back.

If you were already aware of this, I apologize for wasting your time. If you were unaware of it, I hope you can take action.

I hope you will excuse the spelling errors; I speak Spanish and am using Google Translate. Thank you for your attention, goodbye.

I just love how basically every carcharodontosaurid is a giant monster the size of T Rex except for concavenator

The fact that Spinosaurus may have had a real rival just shows how dangerous the prehistoric world truly was. Even something that powerful wasn’t untouchable… makes you wonder what kind of encounters they had out there.

Carcharodontosaurus hunting down a mid-size Paralititan would be a sight to behold.

3:20 "The T rex and spinosaurus arent scary or badass enough, we need a tornado!"

Carcharodontosaurus is a underrated dinosaur

This nap is going to be amazing

I`m adding him to my Dino Team in Ark.

18:06 that massive patch on his face tripped me out, that would definetly be a useful color scheme to have.

This is PERFECT for dino fans who wants more knowledge

Bro teaches more than any history teacher, great channel

Spino been done dirty in the thumbnail, that is disrespectful bro💀🥀

Shark teeth on a land creature? Yeah, Carcharodontosaurus and it's relatives would be much worse to run into than T-rex. It's a shame they're so underrated.

Obviously there were much worse things happening during WW2 but I think people often forget or simply aren't aware of how much history we lost with that war. So much art and archeology and other cultural relics of ages past were destroyed, and it's devastating honestly. Much like the people who ceased to exist, many artifacts and fossils are gone and cannot be replaced.

Ive always loved Carcharodontosaurus and am glad it and all carcharodontosaurids are getting more recognition.

This is so educational I love it keep up the good work

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus is my favorite dinosaur but Carcharodontosaurus is mad underrated. Top 5 for me.

It’s fascinating to see how different prehistoric creatures evolved unique ways to survive

Finally, an episode dedicated to my favorite dinosaur!

I enjoyed the video, but one thing that was overlooked in this video is that the skeleton that was found in 1914 by Richard Markgraf, described by Ernst Stromer in 1931 and then destroyed in 1944 was not the holotype of Carcharodontosaurus, nor was it Carcharodontosaurus at all, but it was actually a separate genus that was named Tameryraptor in 2025.

(Very long explanation below):

In 1924, two teeth were found in Algeria, which were described by Charles Depéret and Justin Savornin as the syntype (shared type specimens) of the new species Megalosaurus saharicus. At some point, both of these teeth were then lost.
Ernst Stromer came across these teeth in the literature and redesignated one of them as the lectotype (the sole name-bearing specimen for a species previously known from multiple syntypes) for M. saharicus in 1931.
In the same paper that he made this tooth the lectotype for the M. saharicus species, he also described the theropod skeleton that was found in Egypt in by Richard Markgraf in 1914, and he decided that it was the same species as the Algerian lectotype, but recognised that it was clearly a different genus from Megalosaurus, so he gave this species the new genus name Carcharodontosaurus. This doesn't make the 1914 skeleton was the holotype of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, the lectotype tooth was still the only name-bearing specimen for this species and new genus, despite being lost.
Then in 1944, the 1914 skeleton was destroyed.

Eventually, in 1996, Paul Sereno et al. described a new skull from Morocco which they assigned to Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, and in 2007 Sereno and Steve Brusatte made this the neotype (replacement type specimen) for Carcharodontosaurus, since the lectotype tooth and the 1914 skeleton were destroyed, and this species desperately needed a new specimen with which to refer future finds to.

However, in 2025, a new paper compared the teeth of the lectotype, the neotype and the 1914 specimen, and they showed that while the lectotype and neotype were probably the same species, the 1914 specimen was not. In addition, since the neotype was what all Carcharodontosaurus specimens should now be compared to, when they compared the 1914 specimen to the neotype, they showed that it wasn't even the same genus. This means that, while Stromer was correct that the lectotype tooth wasn't Megalosaurus, he was wrong about it belonging to the same animal as the 1914 skeleton, which also meant that despite being the specimen that encouraged Stromer to create the name Carcharodontosaurus, the 1914 specimen was not a Carcharodontosaurus.
So in this same 2025 paper, the 1914 specimen, was given a new genus and species name: Tameryraptor markgrafi (meaning "Richard Markgraf's thief from the beloved land).

This re-classification of the 1914 specimen also means that there is no evidence that Carcharodontosaurus lived in Egypt, meaning that some of the species that this video says lived alongside Carcharodontosaurus actually only lived alongside Tameryraptor, these being:
Bahariasaurus, Aeygptosaurus, Paralititan, and the possible dicraeosaurid.

Hope this helps.
