CONCLUSION: The discovery of the tall- crested S. mirabilis sp. nov.
in a riparian setting within an inland basin supports a lifestyle
interpretation of a wading, shoreline predator with visual display
an important aspect of its biology. At the end of the Cenomanian
about 95 million years ago, an abrupt eustatic rise in sea level
and the attendant climate change brought the spinosaurid radiation
to an end.

I hope they really took care of Abdul Nasser. From his closing when he says they found multiple new species, this dude deserves his name on at least one of them :)

How many people are like "I know where there are some dino bones!" and drives you 2 days into the desert to a find that makes and supports multiple peoples' careers?

I imagine dude could have been selfish about it and made some money selling whatever fossils were easy to grab, but he did the right thing and contributed to the world.

Anything we learn about tyrannosaurus rex is always exciting but the underdog of discovery has to be spinosaurus, this skull alone is like finding Sue all over again, I never would've imagined hearing about this kind of discovery in my lifetime!
