Elin has just started at a new school and wants nothing more than to fit in.

When her classmates begin preparing for a skiing trip, she slowly realizes that the children around her are divided by something she had never fully understood before: money.

As the differences between the richer and poorer families become impossible to ignore, Elin is forced to confront where she belongs, and how cruel childhood can become when status enters the picture.

Based on a true story, Class Trip (Åka utför) is a Swedish short film
from Jonatan Etzler, director of the 2026 feature Bad Apples starring Saoirse Ronan.
