Your first theory for this show and it’s already a banger. Another element to human evo diversity is that they’d also be consuming the Nanites of whatever plants or animals they eat, not just adding to the amount of genetic material they have access to, but also the amount of nanites they have access to. Nanites that might’ve been predisposed to certain changes from their original hosts.

I never really thought about WHY human EVOs have so much variety. But maybe one reason why has to do with the original purpose of the nanites. If I remember right, nanites were originally invented to be used on humans for medical purposes, such as curing diseases. Maybe there is so much variety of human EVOs because nanites are most "compatible" with human physiology, since they were designed to be used on humans. Idk, just an idea that I came up with just now.

This reminds me of how the mutagen in the TMNT 2012 show works. If you get exposed to mutagen on it's own you just become an enhanced version of yourself (like the turtles), but if you were exposed to different types of DNA or substances you would be merged with that.

man, being born in the early 2000's was an great time to be alive in, CN was straight just putting out bangers

Personally my thought process on why Human Evos are much weirder is due to the Nanites being programmed to respond to human biology originally and thus are more responsive to the genome of humans, picking up on far more minute details of their genes compared to other life forms. I doubt they were programmed with the ability to recognize the DNA of creatures completely unrelated to humans so when they encounter that, they just follow a standard pre-set pattern whereas in Humans, they actively respond to factors in recognisable DNA and do the whole mutation process while taking any identifiable features in them into account. One notable example would be Rex's friends who turned to Werewolf like EVOs due to a specific condition, resulting in a specific repeated EVO form across them all.

I remember those mfs being like SCP foundation with the whole black and white uniform and having to secure contain and protect anomalies even having an Evo zoo

Actually all of rex's orange builds are part of his original orange giant robot form which he actually created/drew even before he became an EVO

2:17 He takes the active nanites that started the sequence and tells the rest to revert back the organism back to its original form

the only creatures in GR that gained sapience as EVOs are chimps, 98% genetic match with humans, chimps have intelligence comparable to a humans, and possibly a soul. the Meta nanites seem to latch on to metaphysical properties, so the regular nanites may as well, being shaped by both the nutrients in the body during the EVO process, but also by the soul of the afflicted, Rex was a gearhead before he got his EVO abilities after all

My hypothesis was always that nanites were designed for humans and their specific genome so it makes sense there would be a wider range of capabilities it could have when interacting with it.

You would have thought that the EVOs would have looked Cybertronian/Transformer/Mechanical looking like Rex and the Consortium

Rex's Nanites are the only complete batch, the imagination rule apply only to them.
The rest are incomplete unstable copies that create random results.
The Omega was made specifically for Rex's Nanites allowing him to create better machines in a more controlled way, the new machines are simple improvet version of the old ones all mean to be part of the robot.

Generator Rex content in 2025... The algorithm....

I had assumed your EVO form would be influenced by your personality, but by that logic animals should still have more diversity than they do. Yeah, your theory makes way more sense.

Nice video. 👍🏻

We need a van kleiss video he’s too goated

GEN REX CONTENT IN THE BIG 25?! I HAVE BEEN BLESSED

I think it's pretty neat that in the world of Generator Rex despite the whole nanite outbreak thing, life goes on like it's a normal average day. You'd think with something as commonly occurring as the E.V.O's it'd be post-apocalyptic and everyone's fending for themselves, it'd be something like how Prototype did its own thing with the Blacklight virus which is the opposite of what the nanites are designed to do. Its funny how both series have a similar premise but different executions.

Gen rex is my favorite childhood cartoon, Breach was my first crush

Generator Rex helped me make something of my own because the action cartoon itself was based on an already existing action comic like Ben 10, Secret Saturdays and Bakugan Battle Planet

Generator Rex content?
In the big 25?
Bro, I love you for this. My literal favourite childhood show
