Join me in My Quilt Room as we make the beautiful Album Quilt Block using the Quilt-As-You-Go (QAYG) method!
The Album block has such a special place in quilting history. Album and friendship quilts were often created as keepsakes, with blocks signed or inscribed by friends and loved ones. They became a wonderful way of preserving memories and connections through fabric and stitches.
In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through making my version of the Album Quilt Block step-by-step using QAYG. It’s a beautiful block with an interesting design—and a lovely story behind it.
Whether you're new to Quilt-As-You-Go or have been quilting for years, I hope you'll sew along with me!
