This is what no crash 5 does to a man

Remember when stormy ascent and cold hard crash were the hardest crash level
How about a game where 90% is harder then those

can’t wait for the crash 4 106% hitless speedrun soon

Lewis: move, you cursed marsupial
Crash: you want a belly flop in a platinum relic run? here, sir

They could add a simple feature for perfect relics, something like... (start > Perfect relic path = on/off). That would remove all checkpoints and always restart from the beginning, without the annoying need to manually restart.

P.S. Despite that, I really love this game

I don't mind at all that Crash 4 has a higher level of difficulty, longer levels, strict collectable requirements, necessary replays, and hidden objects. My issue is that it has those things all at once 😂
But for real, you mentioned that these levels have so many cool transitions that they feel like they could be 2-3 classic style levels in a row, and I think it would actually fix a lot if they were.

I hope this video leads to “revisiting a lot of those levels to get my pb”

I love the difficulty in this game, you feel like such a fcking boss when you finally do it. 😅

I was genuinely getting SO stressed by the end trying to look around for any missing crates!! but then the gem popped up in the end wahoo!! that was a fantastic run!!

Internal screaming inside flashbacks on the many attempts on getting the insanely perfect on this level are coming back to me

Happy 30th birthday to Crash today

Watching you play this level gave me PTSD and reminded me why I don’t play Crash 4 and haven’t played in many years: this shit is so needlessly difficult it raises my blood pressure just watching someone else play it. I pray that Toys For Bob learned from this and whenever they make Crash 5 they take half the duration and half the crates out. Even then it’d probably be too much but ffs this was agony to watch, let alone play lmao

so happy to see the grind is back! been a fan since CTR Nitro days! still play it to this day because of you! keep it up!

saw this vid on my homepage and as soon as I read toxic tunnels i had my body twitching with fear and rage coming from 5 years ago

This , Rush Hour, Crash landed, Bear Repeating, and Cortex Castle told me you don’t deserve the 106% completion and the platinum trophy for the game , and happy 30th crash anniversary

106% completion was such a satisfying moment. My final relic was Nitro Processing.

If I remember correctly there was a dingodile glitch for his Time Trials. That came in handy.

Man, that was amazing! Lewis is absolutely right! If you break down any hard game challenge into smaller parts, it makes mastering the entire challenge much less overwhelming. Actually, that applies to anything in life, really.

I've beaten the original Crash games, Wrath of Cortex and other Crash games 100% (except Crash Bash and Crash 4). I do like a challenge, but I only beat Crash 4 casually without collecting everything and I'm happy with that. There are some games where I just have to concede that I will never fully complete and Crash 4 is definitely on that list. I just don't have it in me to get everything in Crash 4.

Man in hind sight, Crash 4 stays so true to the OG games.

6 years man, thats crazy

I knew he’d upload a video on the 30th anniversary crash bandicoot!
Great timing and great video
