Nice Natural. Yeah I've found that just hanging a large blanket behind the targets and letting it hang loosely from something (not dragging on the ground or being held down) will stop the Ammo without it bouncing off everywhere. I've also ended up putting another big blanket underneath the targets and the hanging blanket so that I can see my Ammo easier than having to search through the grass for them all the time. 👍

Where that rubber mat is hanging some old t-shirts up instead as backing or an old bed sheet as that’s how I do it and it works really really well as it absorbs the impact of the steel’s and just drops to the floor so you could also put like some box underneath the t-shirts then the ammo hits the t-shirt then it will fall and collect into the box or container. Great shooting, wish I was that good lol.

About ammo catching:
You got a large setup there. I built a small portable one for shooting on carton.
There is these 20l hardplastic fluid containers or water drums that are kinda square-ish. I had one with a screw cap which was handy (see the end).
Dimensions were 11-25/32" L x 9-3/4" W x 15-3/16" H if the datasheet is to be believed.
I cut out a wide side, got myself some truck mudflaps and bolted them in there. Had to cut them to size. I put in 2 behind each other with some space.
I jigged a little spring clamp on the edge of the opening where i could hang my carton target.
So IF i hit the target the ball penetrates the carton, slaps against the mudflap (free dangling to absorb the impact) and falls to down inside the container.
++ Now that was a happy accident but i could unscrew the cap of the container and empty out all the balls inside. That was very cool. But I wont pretend i was going for that when I started.

Upside: Portable, light, cheap and recycled stuff.
Thinking bigger: The rainwater drums or stackable containers. but that is over engineered.

Downside. I had some edge hits and eventually the container was all beat up. But thats a layer 8 issue.
