Simple but a beautiful design and I really like that wood you used to make it. I wished I'd gotten started in making slingshots 30 or 40 years ago. I'm a old man now who can barely see and have alot of wood working tools but not the physical body anymore to make them. So if you are a young person and thinking about making slingshots, don't wait, start today even if you only have a few hand tools. Collect them and learn how to resharpen dull tools. Believe in yourself and don't quit. Thanks for sharing this awesome video.
I'm not so much interested in the foldable slingshot, but I can admire the excellent workmanship that went into making it. Really beautiful woodworking skills.
Super coolest thing I’ve seen in ages. Well worth watching until the end, but wished to see it work a bit more (some slomo would’ve been great also). Thanks for sharing.👍
The woodworking is abslutely stellar, but you can have the same effect by cutting the thumb of a thick rubber glove and duct-tape that to a short pipe. My brother had one of those in the 90s and it was absolutely brutal.
At minute 7:59 the pin that launches the arrow has come out because it hit the wood, you have to create an iron stop at the end run that protects the pin and the elastic, this is what I did months ago.
