Ngl, getting that treatment when the dude wasn't even unemployed for A MONTH is crazy

Appreciate you watching Joe! was great hearing your inputs and points about everything discussed in the video and I really appreciate you linking the original vid!

“what do you do for work” is typically the first thing people are asking you when first meeting

The people genuinely begging him to expose his income are the most obnoxious chatters known to mankind.

I got treated like I’m the biggest failure on this planet because I took a year off between hs and college 😭

It's wild that capitalism's degraded to such a point that even the people in the system being exploited for their time still contribute to ostracizing those who aren't actively having their value extracted from them for pennies on the dollar.

My two cents on this as a disabled dude, people will treat you so differently the moment they find out you have no job but their attitude changes immediately when you tell them you are disabled. So being unemployed is looked down on unless you hage a valid excuse but even with the valid excuse there are still people that will look down on you for not working.

I've been unemployed for over a year now at 21 years old because i cant even get myself to shower due to mental health issues let alone leave the house or even my room for that matter and the way people speak to you when they find out you dont work is genuinely sickening. my mother has taken me agreeing to see a therapist and turned it into them pushing me into getting an income my father who happily gives money to my brother that SA'ed me refuses to support me financially and up until i cut him out of my life would HEAVILY imply that i was a waste of space if i'm not in school or actively working, my mother threatens to kick me out every 2 days, the rest of my family just acts like i'm a waste of space that should own a multi million dollar business like my uncle when he was my age and it's all worsening the situation and pushing me even FURTHER from being able to get a job

Me unemployed for like a year. Him: “5-6 weeks” me:😦

Hey Joe, saw you eating out of my trash can last night. Just checking in to make sure you’re ok.

Since I was unemployed until recently, I can say the following. Keurig is full of shit. Their pods are a waste of money and pollute the environment. Their solution to this is releasing Alta pods sometime this November. That was under NDA, NDA my fucking ass lmao. They're advertised as saving the planet but we have no idea about their long term affects. These fucks think they'll be successful making a coffee milkshake with Burger King and they actively are in discussion about doing this. Watch it flop badly. They're greedy scumbags who don't care about any employees.

Edit: yo this is cathartic as fuck lol did not intend to garner likes/attention. bart you are the goat for letting this comment stay up lmaooo

After being jobless for more than a year, everything he says is true. I barely got an opportunity at a job recently and it's nerve wracking, I feel like I'll be found out if they ever question why I had such a big gap in employment. I'm also terrified of not making the cut and going back to being a social outcast feeling like a burden.

6:06 people expect you to get the most shitty job’s terrible pay bad work conditions the whole shebang just to have something

Chat's attention span is so fucking cooked

People calling Joe unemployed when he legit makes millions is nuts

The one group he forgot to mention are cripples, healthcare is such a joke that I'm feeling certain I'll never be able to work again despite trying to work through the pain.

pretty much the plot of kafka metamorphosis

0:34 um no everyone in chat is definitely employed and not chronically online

im employed but live like a unemployed bum when im not at work

17:47 I edit youtube videos for a job and whenever I tell people they say its cool and everything but you can tell that some people look down on me for it in a weird way, like the idea that I work from home and basically make my own hours somehow makes me less of a hard worker or something. really strange how some people respond to it
