I think people are going to use the fact that like shes trans to make her seem bad because "oh her action are because shes trans" but we need to remember that being trans DOES NOT adequate for her behaviour

I'm not even black but like it could NOT have been that funny 😭😭😭

As a Black person the Nega thing kind of made me uncomfortable but I'm willing to forgive it. It happened a long time ago and I agree with the sentiment that people can change but I don't blame anyone for being upset.

Why do people act like everyone was racist in 2019 😭 Like this was just one year before black lives matter got popular in 2020

As a black person in the glitch community,I definitely feel disappointed and really sad about this because I was basically oblivious to all of this.😢

The amount of folks in the comments who did not watch the video is astounding. I totally agree, especially with the "forgive not forget" thing. I definitely know folks who said some racist crap but have grown. The difference there is that I KNOW them in person, not parasocially. I'm glad that Michal and Ashley at least apologized but that doesn't make up for the fact that it was still bad to say and unless we know any of them personally, we can't tell how truthful they are.

I didn't notice how bad the problem with TADC cast was until I realised that Queenie's VA is the ONLY black person in there who gets to say what? Six lines of dialogue?? 😭

I’m gen so tired of anything related to the n word or just being black in general for some reason being so fucking funny like??? Taking me back to middle school when everyone’s making house slave jokes towards me cuz I have the misfortune of being biracial 😭

7:08 dana terrace AGAIN pulling the weight of a studio lagging behind

if a joke is racist for the sake of being racist, then it's not a joke.
edit: just accept the joke is bad lol

why exactly do they find this so funny?? Like, they laugh for so long… This is the kind of crudeness i’d expect from a high schooler, not grown adults.

As a person who is black honestly at first, I didn’t really care because it was seven years ago, but honestly, you make a good point in your video while I’m not gonna sit here and dwell on it. They are still pretty weird for laughing at a joke about the N-word. It’s also even worse that this community or fandom decides to downplay it and the craziest part is it’s mainly non-black people who are downplay it and trying to have a say in the situation it really makes me sad as someone who loves the show

Im so tired of people trying say this is a nothing burger
THIS IS EXACTLY WHATS WRONG WITH FANDOMS NOWADAYS

If there was more diversity within media then I wouldn’t have grown up drawing (only) skinny white people as a chubby Wasian Indian kid, it took SO much work to unlearn that internalized racism/self hate??? q-q

[I did however do the work & my art is more diverse, and I can draw various body types, hair types, features and so forth like second nature]

im glad they at least apologized. obviously idk if they changed and we don’t all know that but i hope they do. im glad they took accountability for this and said straight up it was wrong but i mean come on right?

Your statement of “I forgive them but I’m not going to forget” is what I’m applying for me and will continue to apply for me , I choose not to worship the grounds VA’s and creators etc etc walk on cause I know stuff like this is inevitable, I just think we shouldn’t ignore, be ignorant or act blissfully towards these subjects , we should hold creators and anyone accountable for actions like these there isn’t any exceptions , was it 7 years ago, yes , does that excuse it , no , especially on the internet , that stays forever , it’s not going to be something that can be brushed under the rug and be forgotten to time no that is staying , the internet is forever and someday in a few years this situation will be brought up again in a similar way , and gooseworks response was just the real nail in the coffin for this whole ordeal , what do you mean they endorse !ncest? What the hell????

As I stated before I choose not to worship the ground of VA’s or creators hence why it doesn’t effect me as much however I’m not going to say it isn’t wrong or should be overlooked cause we need to hold people accountable in situations like these and wether people choose to forgive them and move on or not is entirely up to themselves

I’m just saying I’m not going to hold onto the situation forever however I don’t want to forget what’s happened , I will continue to always tread carefully , and continue to distance myself from fandoms cause It’s scary out here man

1:45 as a black person i dont even know to react to this, holy hell i never recoiled from a video so hard in my life

it's just so upsetting to be blk n see stuff like this from so called inclusive/leftist ppl. like yt ppl only seem to think racism is some big list of social taboos. "don't say the n-word directly referring to a blk person", "don't attack blk ppl", etc. when it's something "nebulous" like "dark humor" or wearing our hairstyles like a costume, it's not Big R Racism so it's fine. n i hate how much i see yt ppl leading the conversation ab what's "acceptable". they think racism is a social taboo at best and a moral superiority faceoff at worst. they don't understand the trauma and self-hatred blk children harbored due to yt childrens' "racist phases" or "dark humor" that's deemed as "normal" by other yt ppl. they just don't want to question how racist society is built to be bc they don't want to challenge themselves by being actively anti-racist instead of just "not hating blk ppl". let's not even talk about how "controversies" like these are manufactured (by that i mean stirred up at specific moments) to intentionally trigger blk ppl in order to debate our pain. but maybe im just too "in the moment" to think about the bigger picture.

It bothers me so bad how especially on TikTok right now you could literally just say "i think what Micheal Kovack said was wrong" and there will be HUNDREDS of white people angry at you for simply sharing your opinion. regardless of what you think about the situation you ARE racist if you refuse to let poc be upset or call them sensitive 😭😭😭😭 I'm typing this as a white person, i think we need to stop downplaying these kinds of things ESPECIALLY coming from younger kids its just saddening to see

As a poc I would be more offended if they didn’t apologize.
