As someone who has unfortunately been a victim of domestic abuse since early childhood, this hits really close to home and is terrifyingly accurate to how it can feel at times. It’s such a horrifying thing when you learn your last line of defense for abuse in a family is walking out on you. You feel betrayed. Suddenly I completely understand why Thomas WAS so pissed at 106 for leaving within “Regret”. He left them all in a very undesirable and toxic environment to fend for themselves. Thomas was suddenly thrusted into a position to protect his siblings from Rufus. Once he left for Sodor, the guilt of leaving everyone probably crushed him. This is why he’s such a natural older brother figure to characters like Percy. This is why he’s not afraid to take any of the big engines’ bullcrap on Sodor. He’s been through so much worse back home.

This was a really uncomfortable watch, but for impressive reason.

This is what parents see when they look at Thomas characters. "Oh yeah, that one's the yellow Thomas, and that one's the green Thomas..."

Seeing what drove Thomas to become the way he acts in this series answers quite a few questions. I like that the E2s have different coloured lining and that 106's name is absent from the credits. The mystery of their name continues. Also and completely random, seeing that both Thomas and 106 have the same face explains Marklin's reaction to when they met Thomas for the first time.

It's really cool getting to see Thomas and 106's siblings and the way Thomas stood up for his sibling was admittedly kinda touching. I think we're getting closer to finding out what 106 was named.

In all seriousness, this is SO good! Love how we get to see most of Thomas’ siblings, minus 104 and 109, and what they were like, and more into 106’s personality. Also love how you gave the E2s shown their own distinct names and personalities. And the livery changes from 103 and her brown paint and white lining, to Thomas’ black with green lining! Lots of thought clearly went into this! Great stuff once more!

Interesting fact that the last members of the Non-Extended and Extended Tanks are not present (104 and 109).

Finally... More Lore, and yet, answers continue to elude us...

seeing all the E2s share the same face * other than 103 and 105* is really giving me the idea that Thomas, isn’t the last E2.

The face design on the E2's was marvellous! They really look related!
