I'm a 75 year old man. My first game was at Ebetts Field, Bums vs the Milwaukee Braves. They moved to LA and we moved at the same time. Our first apartment was on the same floor as that years world series hero Larry Sherry. So thats 7 decades of rooting blue ๐งข. Saw a perfect game thrown against them in 88! And watched Kou and Marichal in SF on Channel 11 with Vinnie in black and white. We ate on tv trays. ๐ My friend was a sportswriter who gave me a press pass to Candlestick to see the Dodgers vs those guys. Field pass. Walked around the cage to the dugout and met Alstons last great team with Lasorda's players. Shook the skipper's hand, went behind the batting cage and said hi to Garvey, Lopes and Cey. Like a moron, I had only a small Minolta camera with barely a lens. Garvey says, "got your wife's camera today", and winks.
Iโm a 19 year old girl in Argentina. I never in my life watched a baseball game, but for the per hour I been watching these Dodgers videos non stop. Idk
Born in 1953 in St. Louis growing up the Cardinals games against the Dodgers and the Giants were my favorites in the 1960s. I most liked the video shown of their time in Brooklyn that was a little before my time. I play the baseball strat-o-matic game and enjoy playing the 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers team against other older teams from the 1950s offered by the game. This video is a gem for fans of baseball history.
