The group claimed 8 Pakistani military personnel were killed and several others injured during hours-long clashes, and alleged that a subsequent quadcopter attack on civilian homes killed one woman and injured another.
⚡ According to reports, Pakistani military forces launched a surprise operation in Tirah Valley, Khyber District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but the operation reportedly turned into an ambush.
Sources claim Ittihad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP) had received prior information about the operation and was lying in wait for the advancing Pakistani forces.
According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, 18 Pakistani Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and several others wounded.
The group also claimed that two of its fighters, identified as Sajid alias Mehran and Abdul Khaliq alias Nothak, were killed during the attack.
⚡ The attack was carried out jointly by the BLF's newly formed Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD), a female assault unit, and the Qurban Unit.
