As Star Trek The Original Series came to it's third and final season they were desperate for TV ratings. So... what to do? Get a celebrity to guest star. What could go wrong? The only problem was that he was a lawyer not an actor. He was also the lawyer of the Jack Ruby the man show shot Lee Harvey Oswald shortly after he was caught after shooting President John F Kennedy in Dallas. He was also involved with many celebrities and helped try to find the Zodiac killer, he was a strange guy, but not a good actor.

One of the most unexpected was the current King of Jordan who when he was a prince appeared as a crewmember in a Voyager episode.

Imagine if Trek had died in the late 60s. No films. No TNG. No TNG films. No Nu Trek. I guess I'd probably just be a Star Wars fan, which I am anyway... I like Star Trek more though, but if Star Wars had been a TV show instead of just George Lucas day dreaming on film reels it might be different. Imagine a parallel where Wars was the TV show and Trek was the weird daydream movies... hmm. Aw, well, maybe next incarnation.

Dude you are wrong. There is No bad episodes of TOS. You can't even imagine imagining! My daughter 33, generation Y, (for you Millennials, you are Gen Y), it was a time of fantasy. Like man Star Trek was the National Geographic of Space. It lived in our hearts and minds. Still does. It's like me not comprehending my parents cowboy stuff. Then I learned that that was their escape into fantasy. De gustibus non est disputandum my man. I was there. I felt it. You can barely see it. No such thing as bad Star Trek. Life is good with a good imagination my man. So from Gen X and the late boomers , suck Smog Evil Doer. You evidently are not qualified to critique my boys, Jim, Spock, Scootie, Uhura, and Mc Coy‼️😮😅🤣🤣🤣‼️🎉
