In waukeen's rest there is a dead goblin who tells you he died by tripping and falling on his own weapon

I found a elf corpse stuck in a wall back in the goblin fort in act 1. If you use speak to the dead with him he tells such a sad tale about how he just wanted to go home to his family, and he explains that the heart drawn on his shoe was a reminder of his son's love... and if he missed him he had to but look down...

feel like Detect thoughts, Speak with dead and Speak with animal is almost required if you want to get everything out of the social aspect in this game

I love how Lae’zel biggest wish is to ride a Dragon.

I mean, who wouldn’t? That’ll be awesome as hell.

the fact that astarion is sassy even in death is incredible. i'll never have the heart to experience it firsthand, but incredible!

damn. finding out Lae'zel's big fear is being forgotten, and then realizing my first playthrough I missed her when going through the first area... damn. I feel bad now.

Auntie Ethel still the most unique and fun to speak with the dead. Bcs she can cheat death and your Tav is like "Wait what"

This shows just how many tens of thousands of hours of voice recording they did for this game. Not only these main characters, but every nameless npc you encounter and random dead body, they all have Speak With Dead dialogues.

hag is the most unique depending if you loot death necklace off her before you speak with dead. she actuality resists you and trolls you with necklace on.

I like the double meaning of shadowheart saying who she worships is forbidden because Shar is forbidden but also her worship of selune is forbidden by the Sharran devotees

There's a lot of instances where you can still complete a quest with a dead NPC by using this. A small side quest in Act III had me stuck because the NPC I needed to interrogate died in a fight. But lo and behold, death doesn't prevent questions from being answered in this game.

If you play a drow, or use disguise self to look like a drow, there is drow specific dialogue when you use speak with dead on the drow body in Nettie's area, in the Druid's Grove in Act 1.

There's one character in wyrms crossing called Naaber, who just won't shut up when using this spell, you have to check him out, along with Aunty Ethel who speak to you pretty much as if she's still alive.
