Hi Gavin!!! I’m a 18 year old almost done with Highschool!!! I just want to say thank you for your work! You’ve convinced me on patience and trying to talk to people with kindness…. You’ve blessed me so much in my faith and I truly see the light of the Holy Spirit in your eyes as you talk! You’re such a good teacher and Thank you!!!!

I may not agree with you on everything but I still love your analysis on history and scriptures!!!

I disagree with Pr. Gavin on many things, but this channel keeps being one of those I consume the most. I think that's a testament to how you teach in a balanced and Christ-like way. God bless.

Hey Gavin! I just wanted to say thank you for all of the work that you do! I'm a stupid 16 year old that got saved a little over a year ago, and your videos have been really helpful for me in gaining knowledge. You've quickly become my favorite theologian, though I still love Wes Huff. This is probably the topic I am weakest in, and I haven't read Revelation yet (though I am almost through the NT, so there's no avoiding it), so I was one of the ones that voted for a video on this. I recall watching a previous video of yours that discussed Full/Partial Preterism, and that was VERY beneficial to me. Once again, just wanted to say thank you, and God bless you! This will probably spur me into starting Revelation a little bit earlier as well.

Thank you Gavin! I'm a busy young man working to finish my undergrad in college, and I've realized over the last couple years that I've only been given "one-sided" understandings of eschatology, much like I had with church history, and have been wanting to dig deeper but haven't "had the time" (as many excuses as I'm sure that contains!). This will truly be a helpful primer for me to return to, as are all your videos. I look up to you and hope to serve the Body of Christ much like you do someday, though perhaps not in an official pastoral role (God only knows)

P.S. I'll add that the "left-behind" pop-culture that is especially prevalent in evangelicalism has made it very difficult to sift through the noise, but it's also easy to miss things by just plainly reading the scriptures on this topic. Double thank you, Dr. Ortlund!

I have over my lifetime changed my mind many times on the various interpretations of the events in Revelation. Never once have I feared for my salvation as I’ve considered these topics, I know my Redeemer lives and one day will return for His Bride. I am looking forward to your next video! Maybe I’ll change my mind on some things again haha.

I am a 77 year old lady and love your broadcast. I too am scholarly and it adds so much to my study of God's Word, which I have been doing since about the age of 12. My prayer for the last year has been to know the Lord better, before I go home to be with Him. I have learned so many "new" things, if you can believe it. "He is new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness O Lord." I am also honored to be sharing you with the fantastic young Christians who have commented on this video. God bless all of you! This is one of the best exegesis which is aligned with the early church, that is logically,rationally,historically and culturally goes with the context of 1st century audience. the additional exhortaion you put to strength the faith is also awesome. keep up the good work.
