I feel such heartache knowing he can’t play drums anymore because of his illness. What a legend. Thanks for posting this, the legend lives on.

I love Phil Collins. One of the greatest drummers and all over artists ever.

Awesome to see them discovering Phil Collins. He used to be the drummer for Genesis before taking over as lead singer when Peter Gabriel went solo. His work in movies like Tarzan made the movie. Thanks for the uninterrupted collage of them all enjoying one of the best stage performances ever!

Can we talk about how Phil Collins looks like and enters the stage like a perfect Bond villain?

Not only is he an iconic drummer and vocalist, he is an Academy Award winning singer/songwriter! Simply the best!

To be able to play the drums and sing in tune is truly a genius level talent. So sorry he can no longer physically play, he was amazing

Oh my...its emotional for me. In 1981 I was 21 years old. I was in coast guard training school on Governors Island NY off the tip of Manhattan. I was in my dorm which had a window where I could see the New York city skyline. I was lying in bed at night amazed at what i was looking at. I had an alarm clock radio. "In the air tonight" just came out. It was dead quiet other then this song and the New York sky line. Most things I can't vividly remember but this one is one of those moments I can.

Everytime I hear this song, I immediately think of Crockett and Tubbs driving to their showdown the Calderone. And I imagine myself riding along with them. No words. Just silent acknowledgement that it's going to get serious this night. Everytime the drums hit, and I'm racing for that final showdown along side Crockett and Tubbs. The 80s were something special. Never gonna be anything like that again.

I remember being lucky enough to see that performance. It was simply amazing! I'll remember it for the rest of my life. MY LIFE!!! 😄

You would never understand how great this man was. He was in one of the best rock groups called Genesis. Go listen to their music until Phil went on his own, but he never wanted to be a singer. He just wanted to be a drummer because he was the best at it in the mid 70s, but the group Genesis he was the best at it

Five repeats of the drum solo, I could've listened to it ten times.

Really brings tears to my eyes. The greatness’s of a genius like Phil Collins, the joy of those young ppl in shock and awe and the realization that Phill has become old and fragile. Leaving the legacy of hundreds of great songs, old and new Genesis and his solo and other work
