Kaleigh didn't dodge a bullet, she dodged a nuclear missile.

why does no one ever, ever acknowledge that if he did these things to his own sisters, that he most likely did them to his children?

Anna has no ego.  She’s been broken since the day she was born.  It’s impossible for her to make her own decision because she lacks the ability.  It was beaten out of her.

This was a good take on Anna. She grew up isolated with little to no understanding of the outside world, she has no job experience, not a great education, children she has to support, and no support from her family in terms of leaving. To admit to herself that Josh is guilty, would put her in a terrifying situation. Groups like this make it especially hard for women to leave. This doesn't absolve her of all responsibility for her children's safety, but at the same time Anna herself is a victim too. I hope she finds the courage to accept what happened and leave the cult and the Duggars behind.

the Duggars “bought” a bride for thier deviant son. Instead of holding Joshua accountable and getting him the help he needed they made it Anna’s problem. No One was looking out for Anna’s best interest

Kaleigh Holts parents protected their daughter from Josh, the only parents in this story that did.

Anna blaming Josh's parents for Josh's behavior is a critical step in her waking up.  She's not blaming herself as the IBLP would like.

I hate how they say Josh cheated n Kaylee.  He didn't cheat, he molested. Saying it was cheating downplays the seriousness of the incidents.

Does it creep anyone else out the way these poor, brainwashed women just sickeningly gaze at their husbands when they speak? Super weird.

Mike Keller is the real villain of this story. If my parents knew a boy I was interested in had touched his sisters even “over the clothes” they would have said absolutely not, you aren’t going to get involved with someone like that, let alone marry them.

Anna has no education to speak of and has been raised to never leave. As a mother though, the children should come first. There is no way I'd let him near the kids. I've heard rumors that Josh's father refused to help Anna financially unless she stayed with Josh. As a woman with no education, no social support, and no friends other than Josh's family, she's literally trapped. 12 years is not nearly enough time for what Josh did. Sickening

Jim Bob should go to prison as well for covering up Josh's crime.  He needs to be held accountable as well!

Oh dear Lord!  The fact that the Holts refer to what JD did to his sisters and another young lady as, “cheating,” is so disturbing. Cheating is when a person has a consensual intimate relationship outside the bounds of an existing committed relationship.  Committing CSA or R-wording a victim is so much worse than simply “cheating.”  JD didn’t cheat with his sisters.  They were his victims and are now survivors.  Calling it “cheating”  is a completely unacceptable minimization of one of the worst things a human can do to another.  God bless Kayleigh Holt!  Hopefully she is happy, satisfied and fulfilled in her relationship with her husband and within their family.

Anna's statement that Josh was eager to bathe the babies and change diapers.. I got a mental picture of Josh cleaning up his kids 😫😫😫 Josh needs a LIFE SENTENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh !!! so frustrating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know a lot of people have a ton of negative opinions & things to say about Anna. As someone who grew up  under similar teachings & environment I have an overwhelming amount of empathy & sympathy. I don’t think people who haven’t been through it would understand. I do not believe she’s happy & hope one day she is truly able to be.

They made close to $18M and the girls didn't see much of that $18M. What a horrible family!

I think what people need to realize about Anna is that you can be an abuser and abused - it isn't mutually exclusive. She was raised in a manner that greatly stunted her growth, and it did her an immense disservice as an adult. However, she is now doing the same thing as an adult to her own children and refusing them a better opportunity in life than she had. She has siblings who have left IBLP and have offered her assistance with leaving as well - she has the opportunity and the support structure in place, and has actively avoided it.

Jim Bob was probably thinking the other stuff would stop if Josh would get married

My Irish granny always said “God gets blamed for more things that aren’t His fault!”
