Great to see/hear you back Max! And the CJ4 II is a legit airplane - enjoy!😊👍

@chuckgibbons9731 6 months ago

Is your new aircraft on order a CJ 4? It’s a beautiful aircraft! Plus a little more economical to operate I would imagine!

Just discovered this channel and absolutely love it! The vids give you the sense of being right there in the cockpit! Keep them coming!

Could the "mystery aircraft" he has on order be the Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen3?

There are a few "shiny new toys" in this Citation that would definitely appeal to Max:
Garmin G3000 Prime, The Gen3 is the first aircraft to feature this next-gen avionics suite.

Also Garmin Emergency Autoland, the plane can literally land itself at the nearest suitable airport—communicating with ATC.
It also has Lithium-Ion Batteries, It moves away from traditional batteries for better cold-weather starts and weight savings.

I flew the CJ4 for two years. I 've been at the airlines for 7 years or so and ProLine21 has been the best avionics I have ever flown

Regarding predicted winds;

I seem to remember there is a page where one can enter average winds for climb, cruise and descent (taken from one’s flight plan). The system is then able to give accurate predictions. Also, useful technique tip - have VNAV on as a background mode. You can set up VNAV profiles in preflight and when airborne selecting VFLC will give you a magenta bug speed.

It has been 14 years since I flew proline 21.. and it was a hawker 900XP. Hopefully the cj4 has the same functionality. Happy flying dude. E.
