Rose Kennedy became callous, cruel, cold-blooded, evil, greedy, and lazy when she made the decision never to seek a paying job when she was a single woman and later when she married.  She felt she was entitled to be financially supported and to live the life of a lazy, greedy, evil celebrity.  She was an active participant in the constant psychological abuse of her children, especially towards Rosemary, an enabler in allowing her husband to destroy Rosemary's life, and participated in erasing Rosemary from the family.  She did not visit Rosemary for 20 years, and then only visited her to save her reputation.
