Samus kills Ridley for the 37th time
McKenzy:
"Well, that just happened."

Not content with killing Halo, the 343 searches for other sci-fi franchises to devour.

You know Wolf’s still feeling the rage of Halo’s death at the hands of 343

(Audible gulp)

“Erm… Dark Samus is right behind me, isn’t she?

If I was running a game studio, seeing 343 on someone's resume would mean a 99% chance that they wouldn't get hired.

This is what blacklists should be for.

Not, “Oh, I don’t like this person. I’m going to tell all my friends to ruin this man’s life.”

But, “EVERYTHING this person touches ends in colossal failure. Never give this person charge over anything ever again.”

So that's TWICE 343i developers have made a sequel to a beloved trilogy and proceeded to completely piss all over it.

Mackenzie and The Weapon are the same character. Whoever at 343 wrote for The Weapon, has clearly written Mackenzie, and this is just their selfinsert character. They think theyre the quirky big brain tag-along with a heart of gold who endears themselves to the stoic protagonist with their well intentions and quippy dialog.

Whoever that person is, needs to make a real friend. Literally one is all it will take.

"Mak you got that rizz boi 67 bombaklott lets dismantle capitalism" - Samus Aran

"Focus, S. (And use the map)"

The cool thing about metroids level design as well isn’t just the complexity of how you move around the world, but also how you can skip and bypass area’s and acquire power ups you weren’t intended to get at that time.

It really shows the care and quality of the game when that stuff happens.

One of the moronic misanthropes that ‘wrote’ for this farce wants Samus to be a Troon.

This is why quiet exits are going to slowly but surely eat mass media as we once knew it (apart from [NEXT ANIMATED PRODUCT LAZY PARENTS USE AS A BABYSITTER] of course).

...Like these are entire COMPANIES full of people most famous for ignoring what their customers want (and/or openly spiting them)... and the industries in question encourage it.

...Which means? There's no actual mechanism behind the scenes to fix any of the underlying issues with these industries. So, the only move for consumers is to just roundly ignore those same industries in their entirety.

(So far? We've already lost theaters. And tentpole cultural experiences. We'll see what else is gone in 10 years.)

So, I remember getting Metroid Prime for Christmas when I was 10. I remember begging for Echoes, and it becoming one of my favorite games. I remember playing Corruption and loving it as well… I was super excited to play Prime 4, and… at first I was in love, but then…….. 😢

These writers don't even have "Rip-off a good Alien movie" to fall back on.

Not being able to end annoying characters is a crime against humanity.

First Halo then Metroid, it's like Jar Jar Abrams ruining Trek then getting Star Wars 😢

1:03:37 She can talk. She can talk. She can SING.

The elevator room in Fusion had more character and innovation than that entire fucking desert in Prime 4

I'm glad we addressed the crap naming. It's so freaking depressing.
