surprised at how pleasing it is to hear an american say Leicester perfectly

Your music knowledge is crazy

Sometimes i forget how insanely big the British music industry is, many of these are literally the biggest bands in the world then and/or now.
Not to mention how influential they've been.

UK art output is phenomenal.

For such a tiny little island, we really hold our owns some insanely talented people here.

9:23 Yes Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield are brother and sister

The gorilla drumming to Phil Collins was a famous Cadburys chocolate ad in the UK. It’s worth looking up on here as it’s really good!

Your knowledge of British music is very impressive

About 10 years ago I went into a tiny music shop in Ramsgate, Kent, UK, to buy some strings for my guitar. The rather old man working there was messing around on a guitar when I went into the shop (playing some really cool blues licks), and I was so impressed with him I asked if he'd played in any bands.
Casual as you like he said "yeah I used to be the drummer for the animals". He went on to tell me about how he'd toured with the rolling stones and been a session drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis, but when the bands he was touring with started getting into drugs he said "well, I didn't like that so I came home".
The sweetest and funniest character I've met in a very long time, and after chatting to him for an hour or so he sold me a 2nd hand amplifier ... which I still have today.
Barry Jenkins... look him up.

Grew up in the 80s in Manila, the British New Wave bands practically ruled the airwaves back then..

It's refreshing to see a reaction video where the person seems like a genuine person

Fleetwood Mac was originally all British blues band from the late 1960s Peter Green was the originator of the band ..Buckingham  and Nicks joined many years later

How did the prodigy not get on this list ??

Britain has produced so much amazing music it is unreal.

They are not mere sideburns, they are mutton chops. Named after a cut of Lamb.

Swede here, born in 1985.
Most of my favourites are British, namely Queen, David Bowie and The Smiths/Morrissey, not to mention Led Zeppelin and The Beatles.
Too much gold!!!

I stumbled across this video by accident. It is a breath of fresh air to view someone  from across the pond who is not only knowledgeable but appreciative of our music from all eras. I'm not overly proud of my country but music is one thing I think we do quite well. Highly enjoyable to watch. Subbed. Edit: Favourite band of all time has to be The Cure and favourite song... Just like heaven

A British accent, not THE British accent, we have so many.

7:16 that's the official Scottish national anthem. Don't let anybody ever tell you different

Open minded, chill and articulate. Fab, love this.
