If you've ever lived full-time in a van, or even part-time, it won't be long before you find yourself faced with one of the inevitable park up predicaments that goes hand in hand with vanlife - dogging hotspots! Like a vanlife rite of passage, these surprisingly abundant and thriving park ups crossover with the van community on a regular basis. But over the years, we've found there's far worse to worry about living in a campervan than this (mostly) harmless activity. Just don't flash your lights. But then what is dogging? And why is it different to cruising? And what the hell is cottaging when it's at home? And why did we get onto this debate in this video?! Who knows, but it makes a change from scouting out towns for a potential future home.
On that subject, we also visit Malton, the apparent food capital of Yorkshire, and a village close to Hull called Cottingham, which is affordable enough for us not to rule it out as a potential option. So join us as we continue to explore part of Yorkshire, mixing up travel with the realities of campervan living - which, of course, includes sharing your sleeping place with all manner of curious activity. Just another normal day of living in a van!

I was disappointed to hear of a lot of closed up places in Malton. I think the property prices there reflect its closeness to York maybe?
Oh the dogging I laughed out loud it was a very funny episode and I learnt a few new sayings!
