A 15-hour ferry journey from Korea to Japan—with my bike on board! 🚢🚲
Instead of flying, I boarded the Eastern Dream at Donghae Port and headed to Tottori, Japan. 🫠
This four-day, three-night vlog starts in Sakaiminato, with a ride along the Yumigahama coastal cycling route.
Join me for wide-open sea views, a warm hot spring footbath, local crab dishes, and the scenery from Yonago Castle Ruins.
Seasickness and saddle soreness forced us to change a few plans, but exploring Japan's peaceful smaller cities on two wheels was absolutely worth it!
I've included the process of taking a bike on the ferry, the cabin and onboard facilities, the coastal cycling route, our hotel that welcomed bikes into the room, and plenty of local food and shopping.
Would you take your bike on a 15-hour ferry journey?
Tell me which stop you'd most like to visit!
