Saddest part of this movie is that Concussion is actually a pretty baller name for a villain

@Pellz 1 year ago

I find it insane that concussion killed an entire team of fully trained grown ass adults and as soon as he comes out that portal is immediateley rinsed by some kids

When I was a kid, I was legit afraid to win one of those sweepstakes. "But how can my parents afford to go on vacation for two weeks? How will we afford the bills? What about the electric bill?!"

I took my kid to Wendy’s about a year ago to get him a kids meal.
His toy was a ball.
A simple red ball with the Wendy’s logo on it.
Compared to that, those Zoom toys look state-of-the-art in kid’s entertainment.

I was embarrassingly obsessed with this movie as a kid so I made a beaded bracelet with "zoom" on it. Got bullied for it but no one could change my mind. 😂

This is one of those movies that for some reason I was obsessed with as a kid watched it on repeat for months

Felt bad for the fat kid. He always got cast as a kinda annoying dopey kid, so for them to make his power, in this completely made up story with no comic lore, to be fat as possible, his power is he grows so fat he takes up a lot of the cgi budget. Its so messed up lol

Fun imaginable fact: Kate Mara said if she ever made a worse superhero movie, it would take a second try

A.k.a. the big theatrical Smash Mouth music video

One of the best fun bad movies from my childhood. Lost count on how many times this was watched on long car trips

I hella have nostalgia goggles for this movie but I still think the concept is kinda strong? Old, washed-up superhero who lost the use of his powers trying to get back into it is a fun idea. If it wasn't a 2000s family movie, it might have worked a bit better.

Twice the budget of Sky High is insane 25:39

Kid: Mom I wanna watch Sky High
Mom: We have Sky High at home…

How could anyone forget when Tim Allen told a hormonal teenage boy to master his powers by spying on his crush!?

This movie was peak “sit down so i can nap” entertainment

I always thought the movie should’ve been about the story when zoom was younger, intro slapped and concussion is a sick villain name

If Sky High was the precursor to My Hero Academia, then Zoom is the precursor to Fant4stic.

I remember watching the trailer for this movie, and to me it really felt like a wannabe Fantastic Four movie. That was until I looked up that this movie actually starred Kate Mara, who would later go on to star in an even worse superhero movie FANT4STIC.
