The description of space and landscape reminded me so much of miro

"l'espace sensible au coeur"... beautiful!

Merleau-Ponty’s ideas on the nature of space are fascinating. I am wondering when it comes to the metaphysical nature of space, does his views best align with ‘substantivalism’ or ‘relationalism?’ I personally feel like his views on space sound like it aligns with Relationalism

Brilliant thinker

Thank you for your great work.

Hmm, I was going to read Merleau-Ponty soon, thanks for the timely warning.

Favor legendar na língua portuguesa do Brasil, grato.

If only the artists were really as intelligent as Merleau-Pony opines...

Whoever Benda is or was, he/she has a point. I've been listening to hundreds of hours of philosophy lectures, interviews, discussions, etc. I've been reading several philosophy books. I'm a layperson, but it seems to me that many of the 20th and 21st century philosophers seek fame through (1) neologisms (as if the millions of words we have do not suffice); (2) contrariness; (3) restating existing theories; (4) common sense observations eloquently packaged as "new" theories; and (5) publicity, publishing, and posturing. Something is amiss.
